| What is the Form I-9 and why do
I need it?
The Immigration Reform and Control Act (I.R.C.A.) requires
all U.S. employers to verify all their employees are legally
allowed to work in the U.S. This verification is done
via the Department of Homeland Security Employment Eligibility
Verification Form (known as the Form I-9).
How Does it work?
You will be emailed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
This MOU needs to be completed and faxed back to Court
Check. The MOU is a document that will be on file with
the Department of Homeland Security stating that you agree
to screen all new hires though the I9 E-Verify program.
Once Court Check has received your MOU we will create
an account for your company with the Department of Homeland
Security . Creation of this account usually takes 5 to
7 business days. Then every time you hire a new employee
just fax us the employee's form I9 to us. We will verify
the employees eligibility to work, issue them the DHS
"Right to Work Number", and upload a scanned
copy of their form I9 to our servers where you can access
it 24 hours a day 7 days a week in case of audit form
the Immigration and Custom's Enforcement Department.
How Much does is cost?
The E-verify program is a service not a product.
Every employee you hire must be screened though the E-Verify
program until you formally terminate yourself from the
program with the Department of Homeland Security. Pricing
is based on how many employees your company has and what
your current Pre-Employment screening package is. Please
contact use if you are interested in the E-Verify program,
One of our sales reps will evaluate your current Pre-Employment
Screening program and generate you a custom quote based
on your company size and hiring volume.
